SoMi — Schools of Ministry

The Schools of Ministry (SoMi) are designed for individuals who sense a ministry calling based on Ephesians 4:11–16. This program identifies, equips, and activates believers in their God‑given ministry offices through biblical teaching, spiritual formation, and practical ministry engagement.

SoMi consists of five specialized ministry schools:

• Apostolic School
• Prophetic School
• School of Evangelism
• Pastoral School
• School of Teaching Ministry

Graduates of SoMi will be able to:

• Identify and operate in their ministry calling.
• Demonstrate spiritual maturity and biblical grounding.
• Minister effectively in their chosen ministry office.
• Apply biblical principles to ministry practice.
• Serve the local church with excellence and integrity.
• Develop practical ministry skills through mentorship and activation.

• Completed application form
• Copy of ID or passport
• Commitment to Christian growth and ministry development
• Basic English literacy

SoMi is a structured 9‑month program designed to activate ministry gifts, strengthen spiritual foundations, and prepare students for practical ministry.

• Program Fee: Free of charge
• Students only purchase manuals and books

• Applications Open: 10 November 2025
• Registration Opens: 18 January

Students who complete the program receive an informal ministry certificate. This certification is not accredited by SAQA and is intended for ministry activation, not professional employment.

Assessment in SoMi focuses on ministry development rather than academic testing:

• Practical ministry activities
• Mentorship evaluations
• Ministry assignments
• Activation sessions
• No formal academic exams

Graduates of SoMi may progress into:

• TheoMi — Diploma in Theology & Ministry
• SoTh — School of Theology
• LEADi — Leadership & Development
• Local church ministry roles
• Pastoral mentorship and ministry activation
