Diploma in Ministry

A one-year ministry formation journey across nine clearly structured modules.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Prepared for the work of ministry

TheoMi joins biblical understanding, spiritual formation and practical ministry preparation. The course moves from biblical foundations and leadership into pastoral care, preaching, evangelism, ethics and ministry practice.

Who this course is forBelievers, emerging ministry workers and serving leaders who need a structured biblical and practical foundation for Christian ministry.

MODULES & COURSE CONTENT

What you will study

Four foundation modules are completed in Semester 1, followed by five applied ministry modules in Semester 2.

Biblical foundations, spiritual formation and leadership for ministry.

Introduction to the Bible / Bibliology

Introduces the structure, purpose, authority and central message of Scripture, giving students a reliable foundation for ministry study.

Ruach HaKodesh

Studies the person and work of the Holy Spirit, His gifts and His role in forming and empowering the believer for service.

Systematic Theology

Organises the central doctrines of the Christian faith so students can understand, explain and apply biblical truth coherently.

TMI104MMinisterial Formation

Biblical Leadership

Explores Christ-centred leadership, character, stewardship and the responsibility of leading people within the local church and ministry.

Pastoral care, communication, mission, ethics and practical ministry service.

Biblical Counselling

Equips students to offer compassionate, Scripture-grounded pastoral support while recognising appropriate ethical and referral boundaries.

Homiletics

Develops the ability to interpret a biblical text, prepare a faithful sermon and communicate it clearly to a congregation.

Evangelism

Covers the biblical basis of the gospel, personal witness, outreach and the responsible follow-up of new believers.

TMI203MMinisterial Formation

Ministerial Ethics

Examines integrity, accountability, confidentiality, relationships and wise conduct in public and private ministry life.

TMI204MPractical Ministry

Practical Ministry

Prepares students for ministry practices including marriage officiating, water baptism, laying on of hands and Holy Communion.
